  • pacifist
    noun – a person who believes that war and violence are unjustifiable

    adjective- holding the belief that war and violence are unjustifiable.
  • proclaim
     verb – announce officially or publicly, indicate clearly
  • prompt
    verb – cause or bring about (an action or feeling), encourage (a hesitating speaker) to say something
    noun- an act of encouraging/reminding a hesitating speaker

    adjective –  done without delay; immediate.

    adverb- exactly (with reference to a specified time). ”I set off at three-thirty prompt”
  • discern
    verb (used with object) – to perceive by the sight or some other sense or by the intellect; see, recognize, or apprehend; to distinguish mentally; recognize as distinct or different; discriminate:
    verb (used without object)- to distinguish or discriminate.
  • enigma –
    noun – a person or thing that is mysterious or difficult to understand
  • eudemonia –
    noun – happiness, well-being.
    A person’s state of excellence (happiness) characterized by objective flourishing across a lifetime, and brought about through the exercise of moral virtue, practical wisdom, and rationality.
  • Grandiosity refers to an unrealistic sense of superiority—a sustained view of oneself as better than others that causes the narcissist to view others with disdain or as inferior—as well as to a sense of uniqueness: the belief that few others have anything in common with oneself and that one can only be understood by a few or very special people.
  • sacrilege – violation or misuse of what is regarded as sacred
    sacrilegious – involving or committing sacrilege
  • vagary 
    noun – an unexpected and inexplicable change in a situation or in someone’s behavior
  • whim
    noun – a sudden desire or change of mind, especially one that is unusual or unexplained

  • diligently
    adverb – in a way that shows care and conscientiousness in one’s work or duties.

  • nonchalant
    adjective – (of a person or manner) feeling or appearing casually calm and relaxed; not displaying anxiety, interest, or enthusiasm.

  • dervish
    a member of a Muslim (specifically Sufi) religious order who has taken vows of poverty and austerity. Dervishes first appeared in the 12th century; they were noted for their wild or ecstatic rituals and were known as dancing, whirling, or howling dervishes according to the practice of their order.
  • sprawl-
    verb-sit, lie, or fall with one’s arms and legs spread out in an ungainly way.
    “the door shot open, sending him sprawling across the pavement”spread out over a large area in an untidy or irregular way.

  • outlandish
    adjective-  looking or sounding bizarre or unfamiliar, foreign or alien.
  • sorcery-
    noun- the use of magic, especially black magic.
  • dearth –
    noun – a scarcity or lack of something.
  • transfix-verb
    verb- cause (someone) to become motionless with horror, wonder, or astonishment.
    ”he was transfixed by the pain in her face”
    pierce with a sharp implement or weapon.
    “a field mouse is transfixed by the curved talons of an owl”
  • dematerialize-
    verb – become free of physical substance
    (in science fiction) disappear by means of some imagined technological process.
    “he watched the time machine dematerialize”
    replace (physical records or certificates) with a paperless computerized system.

  • preternatural
    adjective – beyond what is normal or natural.
  • meek
    adjective- quiet, gentle, and easily imposed on; submissive.
  • lectern-
    noun – a tall stand with a sloping top to hold a book or notes, from which someone, typically a preacher or lecturer, can read while standing up.
  • robust
    adjective – strong and healthy; vigorous.
    (of wine or food) strong and rich in flavor or smell.
