Thank you for the very helpful Information. I would like to know what is the difference between Fachsprachprüfung and Kenntnisprüfung ? I mean examination structure wise.

There are mainly three types of Patientenkommunikation tests…
1) telc b2 c1 Medizin exam
2) fachsprachprüfung taken by respective state
3) Patientenkommunikation test taken by Freiburg International Institute or any other private Institute
Idea is same behind all the tests… But format is different…
You have to clear one of it according to the requirement of state where you apply…
In fachsprachprüfung knowledge of Medical German terminology checked…
In this exam they check ability to take proper medical history in German language, skills to understand and maintain the conversation with patient, proper handover to colleagues and seniors etc…
Candidates has to take history of patient, write it down, and present it to examiner…
Kenntnisprüfung is medical examination viva in German… Internal medicine, surgery, pharmacology, radiology and any other medical questions asked…
That needs to be cleared within 18 months of application…. One can appear maximum 3 times for this exam…

I have one question related to this comment you gave, all of this three types of exam should have to follow BEFORE the Approbation exam or after?

it should be cleared before Berufserlaubnis.
And if you apply directly for approbation then before appearing for Medical knowledge test/Kenntnisprüfung, it must have been cleared.
