Blocked Account

A blocked account is required if you go to Germany with a student visa or internship visa.

For job seeker visa, if you have a six months blocked account, that’s okay. But I think your Deutsche Bank account in India with around 3.5lakh- 4lakh (more than 4100 euros) can serve the purpose. (Ask your embassy to confirm this)

“You will have to deposit a minimum of EURO 8040 or 4020,- in a blocked account in a bank in Germany and you can only withdraw a maximum of EURO 670,- per month. (Check the exact amount from Embassy)”
